Björndalen is back

You might think with 38 years no one can win a biathlon World Cup. This does not apply to exceptional athlete Ole Einar Björndalen. The six-time Olympic champion celebrates his 93rd World Cup victory in Finnish Kontiolathi. In pursuit over 12.5 kilometers, he was faster than the World Cup leader Martin Fourcade of France and the Russian Dimitry Malyshko.
Björndalen says modestly: "It was my first victory since December 2010. The decision has been made at the final shooting." After a long head-to-head race between Fourcade and the Swede Emil Hegle Svendsen, they lose their nerves und had to get through two respective three penalties. Old hand Björndalen shot clean in the final round and reached the finish with a healthy margin of 11.2 seconds. His conclusion: "I'm ready for the World Cup."
And the CASCO team can’t wait for another World Cup with Björndalen!
